Half thumb + holes 1–2, 4
- Keep the back thumb hole pinched (leave about 1/4 open).
- Cover left-hand holes 1 and 2.
- Cover right-hand hole 4.
- Keep the remaining finger holes open.
German
High G-sharp / A-flat fingering
Half thumb + holes 1–3, 5–7
- Keep the back thumb hole pinched (leave about 1/4 open).
- Cover left-hand holes 1, 2 and 3.
- Cover right-hand holes 5, 6 and 7.
